Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This is how I explained the holiday to a four-year-old- Well, this and a half dozen library books on the subject.

For the last two weeks, Punky has been collecting Thankful Feathers from various family members and putting them on the turkey. The result has been something the whole family has enjoyed. I like to think it's made us all more mindful of the true meaning of the holiday. And now I think we have a new family tradition.

I've have family in this week and we're having a blast! Hope you're all having a wonderful holiday, too.
